The summer of 2016. Wow. This one will go down in the books for sure. We’re not even to the halfway mark yet, and it’s already been so incredible. After missing out on some pretty great opportunities in my time, I have learned to just say yes. Yes to anything that comes my way that isn’t 100% crazy. Yes to anything that piques my interest in a way that gives my belly a little flutter, and brings a wide smile to my lips. Yes to the opportunities that makes my eyes brighten with wonder and curiosity for what is yet to come. Yes to summer, and all its magic.
Saying yes this year has led me on some really great adventures, from a Rogue River rafting trip, to the Newport Folk Festival. I’ve taken planes, trains, shuttles, and ferry boats, and even drove a Westfalia camper van on a North Eastern road trip. Just last week, I spent several days soaking up some precious Vitamin D-saturated sunshine on Folly Beach in South Carolina with my lovely family. Needless to say, it’s been a couple of months well spent. Not being one to pass up opportunities to introduce folks to Honey Mama’s, I brought bars along with me every step of the way. It’s been such a pleasure combining work with play, and introducing our tantalizing treats to people all over America. I am fairly sure that this is a prime example of a beautiful dream life, and I know for a fact that I am a very lucky lady.

What an awesome fun trip and with Honey Mama’s on the trip, what more could you ask for. I try to keep a Honey Mama’s bar in my purse at all times and so far no melting issues. It’s just the perfect pick-me up during the day, having a bite with my coffee, or just on some of those tedious drives we all have to experience in the bay area. Can’t go without it.
